At the launch of my book “BRUMROAMIN” in September 2003 I promised that I would attempt to have a permanent memorial erected to the Gypsy families that once occupied the Black Patch land. I am now pleased to tell you that on 26 JULY 2005
being the 100th anniversary of their first eviction from the land, a memorial plaque mounted on natural stone was unveiled on the bridge at BLACK PATCH PARK

OBTAIN FUNDS TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN A MEMORIAL IN "BLACK PATCH PARK"
