Good Morning Ladywood
The book contains photographs and stories of the real people of Ladywood, those who actually lived in the area. Some are comical and some are serious but it shows the personality of the people, streets, shops and business like Hickman's the greengrocers, who sadly closed the doors on Christmas Eve 2000 and Landon's Bathrooms, who is still in the area.
I published this book mainly because I was born in Ladywood and lived at 64 Morville Street with my Grandparents living at 1/57 Morville Street. Ladywood holds many fond memories of my childhood and I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did writing it.
